We are Griff Strings
Founded by sisters Pippa and Fiona Griffin, Griff Strings provide strings for artists and events across the UK.
We regularly perform at a range of shows, weddings and events, playing specially curated set lists and arrangements to suit any occasion.
We also provide strings for musical theatre tours and classical performances including acoustic and electric options.
Our performances include solo acts, duo, trio, quartets or larger string ensembles if requested.
Past venues include Royal Concert Hall, Connexin Arena, O2 indigo, RAK Studios and Abbey Road.
Pippa Griffin
Acoustic & Electric Violin & Viola / Arranger / Conductor / Fixer / MD
Pippa is a versatile musician, often found performing across the UK in theatre shows, artist gigs, and unique events. Her love for music spans every genre and no two days are the same. Her multi-instrumental videos, arranged and performed by herself, have over 600,000 views on YouTube, and you can see Pippa at every Turf Moor match playing her violin on the big screen!
Fiona Griffin
Acoustic & Electric Violin & Viola / Arranger / Fixer / MD
Fiona loves to be creative through both music and art. She loves getting involved in every genre of music and you can often find her performing around London with singer-songwriters or on tour in theatres across the UK. When she is not performing she is hard at work creating stop motion puppets and animations for short films and music videos.

Fiona loves being creative through music and art – she loves getting involved in every genre of music and you can often find her performing around London with singer-songwriters or on tour in theatres across the UK. When she is not performing she is busy creating puppets and animations for short films and music videos.

FAQs
Are you able to walk around whilst you perform?
Yes, we have wireless systems and can perform both acoustic and electric whilst walking round.
Can you play outside?
Yes, as long as we have shelter in case of rain and shade so that all of our equipment is protected!
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually arrive an hour before the start of the performance to have enough time to set up and soundcheck.
Is your equipment PAT tested?
Yes, all of our equipment is fully PAT tested.
My venue requires Public Liability Insurance
We have Public Liability Insurance up to £10 million.
What are your line-up options?
Our popular line-up options are acoustic or electric String Solo/Duo/Trio/Quartet. We can also provide a larger string ensemble / orchestra / DJ sets including electric strings with sax and bongos / acoustic strings with piano, guitar or harp.
What are your prices?
We provide bespoke quotes per enquiry as customise our services to each event. This depends on line-up options, how many sets, amount of song requests, equipment needed, travel, and accommodation (if needed due to travel distance).

What happens if our timings change?
We can be flexible with timings, however if something changes with your plans please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can work around this.
